Information We Collect Directly From You
When you register with the Site, we need to ask for information such as your name, company name, and email address. We also collect, but do not store on our systems, payment information, including payment card number, cardholder name, cardholder billing address and the card security code.
We use the collected information for the following general purposes: to create your account, provide you with email communications in regards to our Services, and to provide improvement to our Services.
We will use the contact email you provide us for various purposes, including sending a welcome email to verify your new account. We will also email account holders for billing purposes and occasionally send out other announcements related to the Site and Services.
We may send offers to certain customers on behalf of other businesses with whom we have a partnership. However, when we do so, we do not give the other business your name, address or any other type of personally identifiable information. If you no longer wish to receive these offers, you may unsubscribe by following the unsubscribe link located within each email communication.
Information Collected Automatically
The Site uses a technology called “cookies” to collect and store session information. A cookie is a small amount of data, which often includes an anonymous unique identifier, which is sent to your browser from a web site’s computers and stored on your computer’s hard drive. We may set and access cookies on your computer; cookies are required to use the Site and Services. We do not link the information we store in cookies to any personally identifiable information you submit while on our Site.
We use both session ID cookies and persistent cookies. We use session cookies to make it easier for you to navigate our site. A session ID cookie expires when you close your browser. A persistent cookie remains on your hard drive for an extended period of time. You can remove persistent cookies by following directions provided in your Internet browser’s “help” file.
Third Parties and Use of Your Information
We reserve the right to disclose your personally identifiable information as required by law and when we believe that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights and/or comply with a judicial proceeding, court order, or legal process served in respect of our Site or Services.
We use third-party vendors and hosting partners to provide the necessary hardware, software, networking, storage, related technology and payment processing and other services required to run the Site and provide the Services. To the extent necessary to provide you with the Services and access to the Site, you agree that we may share the information we collect from you with these third-party vendors.
Specifically, we utilize third party payment processors to process financial payments. When you make payments to us, we may transfer certain payment information (including personally identifying information) to these payment processors for the sole purpose of facilitating the payment transaction, such as your name, billing address, and credit card information.
Children Under the Age of 13
Our Site is not intended for children under 13 years of age. No one under age 13 may provide any information to or on the Site. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are under 13, do not use or provide any information on this Site or on or through any of its features/register on the Site, use any of the interactive or public comment features of this Site or provide any information about yourself to us, including your name, address, telephone number, e-mail address or any screen name or user name you may use. If we learn we have collected or received personal information from a child under 13, we will delete that information.
By accepting the Agreement or using the Services, you acknowledge and agree that you may not use the Services to solicit or collect personal information from children under the age of 13.
Affiliated Business We Do Not Control:
We are affiliated or partnered with a variety of businesses and work closely with them. In certain situations, these businesses operate within the Services or through the Site. In other situations, ElevatePoint markets or sells products or services jointly with affiliated businesses. We will plainly disclose any program where we intend to share your information with an affiliated business, and give you the opportunity to decline to supply information or to opt out of such sharing.
We employ other companies and people to perform tasks on our behalf and may need to share your information with them to provide our Services or their products or services to you. Examples may include removing repetitive information from customer lists, analyzing data, providing marketing assistance, processing credit card payments, and providing customer service. We may also provide your personal information to agents who will use it to verify aggregate usage data that we provide to our partners. In all cases where we share your information with such agents, we explicitly require the agent to acknowledge and adhere to ElevatePoint’s privacy and customer data handling policies.
Updating or Correcting Personally Identifiable Information
If your personally identifiable information changes, or if you no longer desire to use the Services or access the Site, you may correct, update or delete it by emailing our Customer Support at [email protected] or by contacting us by telephone or postal mail at the contact information listed below.
We use commercially reasonable efforts to protect the personally identifiable information submitted to us, both during transmission and once we receive it. These efforts may include the use of secured socket layer (SSL) encryption, firewalls and regular monitoring of our systems, and seeking to require our third party vendors to utilize industry standards to secure any information shared with them. For example, we require our third party payment processor to be PCI-compliant. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure. Therefore, while we strive to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
We also import Google contact records into your ElevatePoint contact database. We use this information to create ElevatePoint contact records that are used for distribution of marketing materials. We do not share any of the Google contact information with third parties.
