Gloria Lombardi, founder of MARGINALIA, sat down with ElevatePoint’s Bryan Schoening (Chief Product Officer and co-founder) to discuss the future of work, specifically around communications-focused intranets.
Bryan, who has an IT background, says that to make an intranet successful, companies should enable internal communications teams to use it as a communication vehicle. Because it’s a communication vehicle, the intranet needs to support an entire communication life cycle. It needs owners, governance rules and more.
While he’s at it, he has some general tips to improve your intranet. One spoiler: good search engines are key. People want to get information quickly and easily … and that means by searching for it.
